Originally from the UK, I started learning tenor drum at age 14 and by 18 had also learned the Snare Drum. I moved to the USA at 21 and had lessons with several instructors and judges, including Sally Warburton, TyFry and Bob Meade. I began playing bass at 26 and studied under Bob Meade, Sally Warburton Hannah Boyles, and Mike Cole.

I've competed with and led several bands successfully in competitions up and down the south east; including the Gr4 EUSPBA champions, and winning several bass drummer of the day awards.

In 2015 I began researching and developing my mallets with the guidance of Bob Meade, and input from several others.

In 2020 I began a YouTube Channel to help share knowledge and the fun that comes with Highland Drumming.

As an Instructor I can also provide solo pipe band drumming lessons and band workshops.
